Glenlyon History Society
Comann Eachdraidh Ghleann Lìomhann
The Glenlyon HS, Scotland, is run by local residents of Glenlyon (map) with an interest in the local history of the glen.
There was a mill at Milton Eonan. which was in use up till the 1880s [Source - Duncan Campbell]
In the 1881 census none of the residents had the occupation of miller so we can probably surmise that the mill was not operating in 1881.
In the 1871 census for the parish of Fortingall [Ref 1871 RD 355/A0 ED 004/000 - page 15] there is a miller's house, and Robert Cameron is the miller.
